Must go places in Korea

In the previous post, I have introduced Naminara Republic to you guys, which is a wonderful place for relaxing. In this post, I am going to introduce a historical tourist spot in Seoul - Gyeongbokgung Palace.

2. Gyeongbokgung Palace (경복궁)

Gyeongbokgung is a main royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty, the largest and grandest among the Five Grand Palace in South Korea, it has even suffered from the First Sino-Japanese War. It is mainly formed by 6 main gates, 6 outer court, 3 inner court, 2 Palace of the Crown Prince, 2 Pavilions and 1 bridge; numbers of small courts and other facilities of an imperial palace are also inside Gyeongbokgung.
The main entrance of Gyeongbokgung is called Gwanghwamun(광화문)

Soldiers will stand in front or bottom of the Gwanghwamun to let tourists to take photos with them. However, please do not touch them or talk to them though they would not have any response or even have a smile on their face.😂

If you are interested to Korean culture, you can also try on Korean traditional dress - Hanbok when you are visiting Gyeongbokgung.
Maybe you will think that is kind of weird, but honestly, many tourists even local teenagers will wear hanbok when they are in Gyeongbokgung. It looks really nice in the photos, of course also in the reality.
* One kind reminder, if you wear hanbok in Gyeongbokgung, no entrance fee will be charged!😉
