Must go places in Korea

After talking about the traditional tourist spot - Gyeongbokgung in Seoul, I am going to share some creative markets in Seoul to all of you! Apart from cosmetics and k-pop stars, creative products (their own brand) are also very famous and appreciated by most of the Asian.

1. Common Ground (커먼그라운드)

Common ground is a Creative Market and outlets in Seoul, it is popular as it is built by lots of freight containers. A part from its appearance, the products inside are attractive as well, it is divided into two parts: brands' outlets and also creative products. Most of the stores inside are the new trendy brands or the new local designers' products. Since these brands are not the worldwide brands, this attracts a lot of tourists to visit here. Also, it is near to Konkuk Univeristy, most of the products are not too expensive but have a good quality.

In order to attract other customers, there are also cafes and small restaurants. The one that I am going to introduce is really famous with its Rainbow cake! Although I know it is an usual cake in Western countries, but honestly this cake is really delicious.😋

Shop name: DORÉ DORÉ

2. UNDER STAND AVENUE

Under Stand Avenue is a Creative Market which has only creative products and exhibitions. It is different from Common Ground as its focus is on the exhibition instead of anything. It has different themes after a period of time, such as "How to relax in a fast-speed city?", "How to decorate your home?" etc. However, it is not located at a crowded place but next to the Olympic Park in Gangnam District. But if you are interested, I am sure it is worth for you to go there and have a look!😉

3. Ssamzigil

Ssamzigil is a Creative Market that located at the popular shopping area - Insa-dong. It is actually a retail center which has different local brands shops, fashion goods, art stuffs and also home decoration could be find in this center. For me, I love the flea market on the 4th floor and it only operates during weekends. 👍

*Kind reminder: Please bring more cash if you want to shop in Ssamzigil, because most of the shops here do not accept international credit or debit cards payment if your expenditure is not too high.
